6645-01-489-0455 A case with a leather carrying strap, designed for mounting an unmounted CHRONOMETER, MAKE-BREAK CIRCUIT. It is provided with outside terminals for connecting the instrument to an electrical circuit. It includes a hinged or removable lid to protect the window through which the dial is read. One type, designed to mount the instrument in gimbals, consists of a hardwood box with bottom compartment for housing batteries, relay and spark suppressor circuit. The other type, designed to mount the instrument in foam rubber pads, is of ferrous magnetic metal moistproof construction, but without space for accessories.
